I thought we were done with Poverty Pony Poasting but I saw this story on Twitter (HT: Rob Romano): Ruger Buys Anderson Manufacturing of Kentucky
The author of this steaming pile of dog shit is “firearms expert” Greg Lickenbrock but I am going to refer to him as Greg Lickencock going forward because he writes like a fag and I find it funny. Low effort meme….
Why would some homo “journalist” write a piece about Anderson Manufacturing being acquired by Sturm, Ruger & Co.? For the same reason anti-American, anti-2A, and usually anti-White “journalists” write anything: their paymasters demand an endless stream of scare pieces to convince suburban White women to vote away their (actual) rights for the empty promise of “safety” from gun violence, even though most of the gun violence in America is committed by blacks with prior felonies who are already legally prohibited from owning a gun, much less murdering each other, and do so anyway.
The entire piece is silly, I archived it at the link above as is my policy to keep those sites from getting clicks, but this was my favorite part (emphasis mine):
The relatively low costs of Anderson AR-15s appear to have made them popular among criminals and others prohibited from possessing firearms. A search of Department of Justice press releases found 25 cases involving Anderson AR-15s and lower receivers, and these are just federal cases dating back to 2019. Most of the cases relate to felons illegally possessing the firearms — including at least one Boogaloo extremist — but some involve drug and gun trafficking schemes.
OK, so 25 cases involving Anderson rifles/pistols and lower receivers dating back to…2019. Let’s round down to 5 years since we are only looking at data from early in 2025. Let me run that data through the computer and compile the results….
If I am doing the math correctly and Engineer Jim will correct me if I am not, that works out to an average of…
5 cases per year.
Holy crap, it is a Poverty Pony Pandemic! Greg Lickencock rightfully should be considered for a Pulitzer Prize for this ground-breaking report!
But wait, there’s more!
An Anderson AR-15 was recovered from a 16-year-old plotting a school shooting in June 2019, and one of the men who attempted to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was allegedly found with an illegal short-barreled Anderson AR-15 rifle in September 2020.
Not the Governor Giant Head kidnapping plot! Calling that an “attempt” is risible on it’s face. The men were talking about and sort of planning a kidnapping, they never tried to kidnap her. Two of the men were acquitted as they were entrapped by Federal agents who seemed to be steering the whole “plot”. Even Wikipedia concedes that at least 3 FBI paid informants and 2 actual FBI Special Agents were involved in these conversations, and the real number of agents and informants was argued by defense attorneys to be at least a dozen, almost as many as the actual “conspirators” themselves.
As an aside, I didn’t realize this but two of the “conspirators”, Adam Fox (16 years) and Barry Croft (19 years) were not only given lengthy prison sentences but are housed at ADX Florence, often called Florence Supermax, the same maximum security prison that holds World Trade center bomber Ramzi Yousef, the shoe bomber Richard Reid, the surviving Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Terry Nichols, the patsy from the Oklahoma City bombing. In other words, these are some of the worst of the worst, actual terrorists, killers, mobsters, etc. Croft supposedly possessed an unregistered destructive device, but Fox (who sounds mentally ill) was only found guilty of conspiracy charges and he still ended up in a Supermax.
Reminder: watch what you are saying online.
Back to Greg Lickencock. Mr. Lickencock points out that Anderson made a ton of AR-15 lower receivers, as many as 300,000 just in 2023, although a video that is now deleted from Anderson claimed they made as many as 800,000 per year (Manufacturing Freedom One Lower Receiver At A Time). Anderson also manufactured tens of thousands of complete firearms annually. That means that only a infinitesimally small percentage of their firearms were used in crimes, the whopping 5 per year that Lickencock cites.
What is the point of this article? As Lickencock pointed out, Anderson is now no more and their “toxic marketing” is also gone. If anything I would expect that the combined company will if anything produce fewer total firearms, counting lower receivers, although I expect Palmetto State Armory will gladly pick up the slack. The point is that Lickencock has no point other than producing another scare piece to send suburban White women and faggots like Greg Lickencock to their fainting couches.
I had to see it and now you do as well, here is Lickencock from an article by Shooting News Weekly: The Next Ryan Busse: Meet Greg Lickenbrock, the Gun Control Industry’s New Favorite Fudd…..
Is that not the face of someone being photographed with a butt plug inserted?
Greg Lickencock is a paid shill for Everytown and ((Michael Bloomberg)). As the SNW article points out, he hides behind the “I’m a gun owner but….” nonsense. I own a bunch of cars but that doesn’t make me an expert on automotive policy or how an internal combustion engine works. See also “I served in the military in some capacity and that makes my opinion on foreign policy immune from criticism”.
Articles like Lickencock’s latest bird dropping on the internet only serve to reinforce the beliefs of their current donors and supporters. Lickencock is paid to churn out articles that no one really reads except for lols but he doesn’t seem to mind as long as Bloomberg’s shekels keep coming.
Thanks for reading the likes of Lickencock so we, your readers, don’t have to. And, speaking of Lickin’, those sure are some flawlessly white teefus he’s showing. Trying not to think about the details of his whitening routine.
And your math is flawless.
Excellent analysis Sir!
Well done!
