There's been lots of news about gas pump scams. Someone local here could hack the pump so that it dispensed gas at 1 cent per gallon. Then he would fill his truck which was modified with a 100 gallon tank, then hold the spot until his buddy showed up in a similarly modified truck, to keep pumping gas. Would be interesting to see if something similar was going on
