Curiouser and Curiouser

Yesterday as the Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal shooting was fresh in the news, or as I like to call it “Don’t bring a 9mm handgun to an SKS fight”, it was all over the CBC news webpage. This morning it all but disappeared. There was one story but it focused on the number of cops shot in Canada as if the shooting yesterday was just a minor thing.

They must have gotten their story straight because now it is back in the news.

The spin is pretty clear: an “incel” goes on rampage because he hates women, oh and it was in a jewish neighborhood. Incel is a pretty silly slur, I get called an incel on a regular basis by people that either don’t know or don’t care that I have been married for over three decades and have 8 children. What it really means is anyone that pushes back on current wave “feminism” or even expects women take accountability for their actions.

Also somewhat odd, the location is near the offices of a porn company based in Montreal called Aylo that runs a bunch of porn sites like Pornhub but no one is supposed to notice that part, even though this was a blurb from the CBC News coverage…..

The whole thing is pretty bizarre….

Oh yeah, the part they didn’t mention is that the shooter was also “anti-capitalist”: So, That’s How the Montreal Shooter Described Himself

A violent revolution against the modern capitalist society? That sounds like a right-wing MAGA type for sure!

This story is going to disappear in a hurry….
