These headlines shouldn’t exist in a civilized society but we don’t live in a civilized society so might as well laugh at them.
Man 'felt bad' for murdering current wife - so he killed his ex-wife who 'deserved it'
At least he felt bad about murdering his wife.
A man who stabbed his wife to death "felt bad" about the murder, so he traveled across multiple states to murder his ex-wife because "she, unlike his first victim, deserved it."
According to a release from the Schenectady County District Attorney's Office, 38-year-old Timothy Taylor traveled from North Carolina to Schenectady, N.Y., checked into a hotel, and snuck into the home of his ex-wife on the morning of May 28, 2023, and stabbed her to death. He reportedly exited through a window and discarded his bloody clothing as he walked down the street, eventually taking a taxi to the hotel and then to the bus station.
At the time of the victim's murder, the Brooklyn Homicide Squad was already searching for Taylor in connection to the murder of his current wife on May 13, 2023….
…."[Taylor] told the detectives that after he had killed his then current wife he felt bad, and he knew he had to come to Schenectady to kill his former wife because he harbored so much animosity toward her and in his words, she, unlike his first victim, deserved it," the DA's office said in the release.
Authorities noted that Taylor killed his ex-wife while her three children were in the home, two of which were fathered by Taylor.
In the mind of someone with a room temperature IQ, this probably seems logical and to give credit where due, the second murder involves far more thought and consideration than the typical 2G homicide.
The report does say he stabbed his ex-wife more than 22 times so you could safely surmise that the divorce was less than amicable.
I would guess he murdered his current wife in a typical 2G rage and knowing that he was going to get caught decided to do a Michael Corleone and settle all family business by killing his ex. In a state without the death penalty, once you murder one person the rest of them are free.
If you knew you were going to jail for the rest of your natural life and only had a short time to spend your final days of freedom, what would you do? I would spend my time with my wife but in Timothy Taylor’s case that ship had already sailed so to speak so whacking your former old lady was the only substitute.
Planning. Empathy. A recognition that he had done something wrong. If this guy hadn’t become a murderer he could have been a black community leader.
Evrry day, at least once a new same old same old. Its all so tiresome. We shoulda picked our own cotton.
Look on the bright side, either more 2Gs are biting the dust or mudsharks are being dealt with.
