It is likely an apocryphal story but one that lives on. During a blowout win over hated rival Michigan by THE Ohio State Buckeyes under legendary coach Woody Hayes, the Buckeyes scored late and then went for two instead of kicking the extra point. The legend is that when asked why he would go for two when they were up by so much he responded that he couldn’t go for three. It is part of the legacy of The Game. This guy seemed to take that same spirit:

A jealous man lured his ex-girlfriend into his car and then shot her six times, later telling police that he only stopped shooting because he ran out of bullets, prosecutors said Friday.

Greiver Urbina-Romero, 27, was detained by Judge Torrie Corbin, who said he was “obsessing over” the 41-year-old woman and tried to evade responsibility by tossing the murder weapon into Lake Michigan.

He didn’t kill her although he did inflict a dozen gunshot wounds with only six shots. Credit where due to Greiver Urbina-Romero, he is one of the rare honest criminals. No “I dindu nuffin” here, he was all “I shot the bitch until I ran out of bullets”.

Need to work on that marksmanship Grevier though. Hit her six times and just wounded her?
