There is a new report of the 22 most dangerous cities in America, on a per capita basis: These Are The Most Dangerous Cities In The US Just for fun and even though I already know the answer before I start, I decided to look at the demographics of each of these cities to see what it tells us, using Wikipedia.
Chicago, Washington, D.C and New York would certainly be on those lists if the police were actually ACCEPTING police reports of the crimes being committed. But when the cops aren't arresting people for thefts and assaults, then OF COURSE the crime rates will appear to be low.
